This gorgeous ring is a delicate piece of history! Estimated to have been made in the 1920s, this is a hand carved shield ring adorned with 3 round faceted natural diamonds. The center diamond measures approximately 1.5mm wide, giving it an estimated weight of 0.015 carats. The two smaller diamonds, configured at the top and bottom of the shield design, each measure around 1mm wide, giving them each an estimated weight of 0.01 carats. This brings the total estimated weight to 0.025 carats. Although the bulk of the ring is yellow gold, a vertical section in the center of the shield is topped with platinum, adding more depth to the piece. The ring is made of 14k yellow gold and is a size 5.5. The inside of the band is stamped "14K". At its thinnest point, the band measures around 1.7mm wide.
