This ring is a beautiful art deco piece centered around an approximately 1/3 ct. mine cut natural white diamond. The diamond measures around 4.25mm wide and is ecurely set with 6 prongs. The diamond is set into a millgrained octagon shaped head, accented by two bar cut created sapphires- one on each side. The band is beautifully scrolled and detailed- both distinctive hallmarks of high class jewelry of the 1940s. The inside of the band is stamped "1257 14 & 18k". This is because the body if the ring is made of 14k white gold, while the head of the ring has 18k white gold overlay. The ring is a size 6.5 and weighs around 3.35 grams.
