This delicately beautiful ring is home to approximately 0.6 carats of both European and rose cut natural diamonds! This ring is called a tourbillon ring- tourbillon means whirlwind in French. Tourbillon rings, characterized by a round diamond center and a diamond-studded, double-ended bypass style swirl around it, was popular from the 1890s-1910s. This ring has a European cut diamond center, bezel set in platinum. The bezel is uneven, but secure. The center diamond is high domed and measures around 5mm wide. The bypass style swirled band is accented with 1 dia6monds- 8 on each side. The accenting diamonds are all round rose cuts, and range in size from 0.75mm to 1.4mm wide. The ring is a size 6 and made of 14k yellow gold. The top of the ring is topped with platinum. The mixed metal look adds overall depth to the ring. The inside of the band is stamped "585".
