The stone in this showstopper is a koroit boulder opal fresh out of Australia. Koroit opals are known for their breathtaking opalescent veins and dark brown bodies. The contrast between their electric greens, yellows, blues, and purples and their deep walnut toned backdrops make them incredibly dynamic and visually appealing. The koroit opal featured in this piece is a rounded obtuse trillion cabochon set in a simple, yet classy bezel with a short brim.
